I was recently in a magic competition and had the privilege to perform my "Butterfly in a Box" routine. I'm always looking to get new video footage and pr on my effect. I also like to show to the magic community that you can perform it as a standalone. He also managed to get my number and call me. It was about 3am in the morning and I was awakened by a strong German male voice. He spoke broken English and asked me if I could make a customized butterfly. I don't want to really discuss at this point what the customized butterfly was because this might be something I do for "Butterfly in a Box II"
Things so far have been going great. Just last week my "Butterfly in a Box: was in Genii Magazine April issue 2013 and had a decent review. Not bad for my first run of a magic effect.

I heard that David Copperfield does a effect with a butterfly. I would love to see it. I heard it is awesome. Usually he comes out here to Chicago every year, but the past few years I haven't seen him.
i guess I'll have to make it out to Vegas just to see him. I winder if he still comes out and signs autographs and talks to you afterward? I think it's so important to do that no matter how big you are.
