THE BLUE ROOM & Magic Competetion

I remember watching this on one of the "World's Greatest Magic" This was also in a article of Magic Magazine" January 1996 issue by: Mike Caveney

I wish I was there back in the day when they would perform this. Back in that time era this was probably considered high technology. I really miss those "World's Greatest Magic" specials. It seems the 90's was a all time high for magic. I predict that in 10 years or less it will be even more popular then the 1990s. I remember reading a article on such a topic in "Magic Magazine" I can't remember what year and month issue, but it was basically talking about how every 10/20 years magic has a very high comeback after things are slow or stagnant.

I remember one sentence that I still remember to this day. It said: "Magic will always be one step ahead of technology. As technology moves ahead so will magic" Maybe not the exact same words, but pretty darn close.

Earlier this week I had received a email form Peter Marvey's staff. It was a private video screening of his new illusions. I have no idea how I ended up on his "Red Carpet" list, but watched his private screening videos of his new illusions and I must say I was impressed. I think the new illusions are definitely going into the right direction of technology.

I have some ideas coming up that I have been wanting to do for quite some time.
The idea involves magic competitions. I love magic competitions. I think it's a great way to bring magicians as well as non-magicians together and share our art. One of my dreams is to one day run a magic competition that will be sponsored by the 'Imaginator" I would have cash prizes as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. The main title above the name of each winner would  say "The Magic Of Imagination" I'm also planning on taking some of the proceeds and donating to some magic organizations that provide "Magic School" for young inspiring magicians from other countries that may not be able to afford to go.

I hope I can achieve this goal sooner then latter.
Thanks again for visiting my blog and please leave a comment. Thanks for your support and have a great Magical Day
