It's amazing how a perfectionist he can be. Every show I go to he's flawless. It makes me wonder how the heck he does that day, after, day, after day. Sometimes I wish I could just get into his head for five minutes just to see what it would be like to be the best and have so many look up to you. To be constantly thinking of how to raise the bar and go 10 steps ahead of other magicians. He was born to be the greatest. The problem is when you're so great you always want to do the next biggest thing. I'm starting to get the feeling based on his recent Liverpool interview that nothing is good enough. He's still trying to figure it out. What a profound statement. "I'm just trying to figure it out" I guess we can all relate to that. Most of us are just trying to get a restaurant or banquet gig and hopefully one day get a brush of luck and come up with a new or improved magic effect for our show. let alone flying on stage and being the king of magic. It makes me wonder that when his time comes will there ever be a new magician to replace him? Back in the heyday of magic we had magicians that made their mark in magic Dante, Chung Ling Soo, Howard Thurston, Houdini, Alexander, Doug Henning
