I had this idea today that hope you will find useful in your shows when you use a volunteer form the audience. Okay raise your hands! how many of you know the magic effect where you use the "Hypnotist Spiral or Shrinking Head Illusion?" The effect is produced by by Bruce Kalver 
and is available at your favorite magic shop. Bruce's product is really well made and I recommend checking into getting one.
 

I always thought this was a great effect, but what if you could incorporate it into a give-away. Usually when you do this effect you have a audience member come up to help.   



So here is my idea. Go to the dollar store and buy one of those "Pin Wheel Fans"
Such as the one in the photo. Next buy a huge round sucker at the dollar store.Next take the pin wheel off the stick, but keep the part that makes the pinwheel go around on the stick. You might have to play around with the parts a bit depending on the pin wheel. Next go to you computer

and print this image.Make sure when you print it it's about the same diameter as the sucker. After you print it cut out the Hypnotizing picture and tape it to the plastic packaging that is already over the rapped sucker. You don't want to take off the original packaging because that won't be good.
LAST!when you go to perform your effect you can use the sucker to hypnotize the people or just use your regular magic effect. Whichever you choose you still have a memorable gift to give out to the audience member. You can even have your business card attached to the stick of the "Hypnostick" Have fun!
