Paying for facebook content, Knock - offs and WATERMARK EXPERIENCE!

I don't know if this is true, but if it is we may have to start paying for facebook content. If this happens it will hurt a lot of us. Especially in the magic community where posting content is a part of our PR. Letting people, followers keep up to date with where we are performing, new products out or products we've created that will be released to the magic community. A lot of my followers that visit my blog are from my facebook profile. Whenever I make a new blog-post I usually post it on facebook and now that may not even be possible if the paying for content happens.

I would suggest that if you like reading my blog and keeping up to date with what's going on with me, my magic and upcoming new magic product I created, that you "Bookmark" my blog or sign up to be notified via email when a new post come up by subscribing to my blog.

Another topic I will be going over will be "Knock Off" and how they may actually help you.
A few days ago I posted this topic on a social network which for some reason was taken down. So I will be re posting the topic here. One memeber was challenging my post about "Knock offs" bringing to my attention that a picture that I was using in the post was copy written. So he was kind of saying "Isn't that what your doing? stealing?" I never really thought of it that way. It's amazing how you try to post what you think is valuable content and people come along and express their opinions and feelings about something. Suddenly it's going in a complete direction then intended. That's the beauty of positive and negative forces. We can learn from both sides, but learn with out pointing fingers or letting are own insecurities create monsters.

On a positive note! I was driving  in my car shortly after my "Knock Off" post and I had a Epiphany. I started thinking of the  gentlemen that pointed out that I was using a copy written photo and suddenly! I had an idea! "That's it!" I thought. "That's my next effect! I'll call it "Watermark," I already started to put together the effect. I love when ideas just come smashing at you like a ton of bricks.

I think the person that commented about me using a copy written material holds a lot of value. I'm sure many of us do when we are on facebook or other social websites. We have look at our own actions before we judge others. It's so easy to just grab a photo off google and use it, not even knowing that it may be protected. The difference is that we aren't taking the photo to to people off, sell it or make money. Usually it's just an innocent post to reach out to people, bring something moving or inspiring. The real pirates are the ones that are deliberately trying to steal for profit. There is really no way to combat it. It will always be there, but what we can do is be respectful for one another and be able to talk and communicate our feelings in a mature manner. Maybe in essence we are all pirates. Some of us may be more brutal the others, while others are just going for a beautiful sun-set ride on a ship. Hoping to find their way through the harsh storms and waves. Thank you "Watermark Post" for helping me come up with a new name for my effect. I think it will be WATER-MARK-ABLE!
