I just finished packing a nice order of "Room Service"that is being sent over to Murphy's Magic. My family really did a great job helping out and getting the job done. I can't believe the size boxes we had to get just to pack the "Room Service" boxes into. This effect I think will be great for the working magician. Whether you stage or parlor, I'm sure you can fit it into your show.
The nice thing about the effect is that if you want you can use real grapes and a rose. What I've been doing is performing it at the end of my show. I make the wine glass appear, next the candle, rose and the grapes. I then light the candle and pick up the tray and start walking toward the audience. I give the grapes out to someone in the audience. I then walk back on stage and set the tray down.
I start to walk off the stage, but then I stop. I walk back toward the tray and then pick up the rose. I smell it and then throw it out to a lady in the audience. I pick up the glass of wine,raise it toward the audience, take a sip and walk off stage with the wine glass. With this effect everything has a purpose. It looks classy and the "No Spill Seal Gimmick" is guaranteed not to leak.
