Mad as HELL! why anger could be good!

This may sound weird, but I feel like other people on websites and blogs visit here and use my topics because they can't think of any themselves. I find it fascinating that many of my topics end up on other websites and blogs. Maybe it's just my imagination. I should just one day shut down this blog for two weeks and see if the other websites and blogs have any content. The  main topic for that week might be titled "SILENCE!"
Do you find it difficult not to get angry or loose control when people bully or rub you the wrong way?  It's not always easy to keep your cool and be the better person as well as make the best decisions when you're faced with these challenges. These kinds of things happen to us all the time. At work, at home a friend or even when you performing.

Reacting to challenges in OLD ways isn't necessarily a bad thing. When I say old ways I'm talking about just showing plain anger instead of the going the wisdom route. Wisdom only works for the ones that are wise. If the challenge before you doesn't have any sense of direction and isn't wise then it's difficult to show them the ways of the EYE of the TIGER! You don't necessarily loose if you get mad! Max Maven once said "If you get mad…you lose." but I would like to argue Maxe's quote. Although I think it's a very strong quote, in my opinion it's very dangerous to take advice from anyone until you think about their advice and if you think it's something that can pertain to you or not.
Hers is my modern version of that quote that I wrote. Maybe someday it will be used and remembered in the magic community.

"Anger can change the world. It can either change for the bad or change for the good. It's up to you how you're going to change your destiny based on your choice of behavior. If MAGIC is our insanity then why is it our clarity?"

Just because advice is coming from a professional doesn't mean it's always correct. Heck! don't listen to my advice here either. I'm just reading between the lines.
Many important people, presidents, actors even GOD! got mad and was successful about it. How many of you Catholics out there remember your church using the nicey nice wisdom and be calm everything will work out approach? How did that work out for you? Most likely when you or a classmate acted up you were met with a ruler from the nun or priest. If your were lucky that may have had a talk with you afterwards.
Why did they use such punishment and anger. To teach you the importance of respect and behavior. I don't agree with it, but I understand it. I have a wonderful son and the thought of even raising my hand to him breaks my heart. I don't believe in striking anger onto other people, but sometimes when nothing else works it's necessary to show your anger, otherwise people will keep bullying and taking advantage of you.

Take Rocky for example. In the first Rocky movie Rocky, Rocky's trainer gets angry because Rocky isn't applying himself and giving his full potential. Eventually his trainer gets very angry and tells Rocky off, which later on give Rocky the motivation to prevail after his loosing  the fight to Apollo Creed.

Lets also examine the movie  Karate Kid when Danielson is getting frustrated with doing all of Mr Miyagi odd jobs. Mr Miyagi has Danielson doing all kinds of things such as painting the fence, waxing the car and sanding the floor. Danielson had finally had it. He was upset that Mr Miyagi wasn't fulling Danielson with teaching him Karate. Before Danielson is ready to walk out of Mr. Miyagi's garden, he says "Danielson! STOP!" Mr Miyagi then proceedds to show Danielson how he cleverly incorporated jobs and chores into a life Karate lesson. This is still one of my all time favorite movies. I think it reminds us of the challenges we all go thorough and through life and wisdom come ANGER!

Lets also look at Superheroes!
Have you ever seen a superhero movie where the superhero saved the world because of wisdom and not getting angry, pissed off and out of control? I didn't think so.

Now lets look at our world leaders. Some tragic wars have started over anger. Like childish children fighting or a toy. Instead of trying to work things out they fight t and all hell breaks loose.
WAR! WHAT is it GOOD FOR?  I don't see our world being solved over piece talks or wisdom.

 How about GOD!
Didn't GOD get ANGRY?
When all else failed God got pissed and created fire, floods and buildings that shook and collapsed.

God was angry at the unbelief of Moses, which caused him to resist obeying the command of God to go to Egypt and confront Pharaoh, insisting that he let God’s people go (Exodus 4:14). God is angered by the mistreatment of those who are helpless, the strangers, the widows, and the orphans (Exodus 22:21-24).God was also angered by men turning from trusting and worshipping Him, to the worship of idols (Exodus 32:10; Deuteronomy 6:14-15; Judges 2:13-14; Ezra 8:22). God is angered by the grumbling and complaining of His people (Numbers 11:1, 10), which is often expressed by resistance to His appointed leadership (Numbers 12:9).

What about CHURCH? Everything seems so nicey nice and WISDOM seems to seep through the walls of the church and onto the people. Everyone laughs and is your BEST FRIEND. Everyone is smiling and before and after church you get to chat and hear how wonderful life is over coffee and cookies and then the moment they get out of the church and into their cars their personality changes to ANGER! WHY is THAT?

This is the LAND of CONFUSION!
"Land Of Confusion"

I must've dreamed a thousand dreams
Been haunted by a million screams
But I can hear the marching feet
They're moving into the street.

Now did you read the news today
They say the danger's gone away

But I can see the fire's still alight
There burning into the night.

There's too many men
Too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can't you see
This is a land of confusion.

This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we're given

Use them and let's start trying
To make it a place worth living in.

Ooh Superman where are you now
When everything's gone wrong somehow
The men of steel, the men of power
Are losing control by the hour.

This is the time
This is the place
So we look for the future
But there's not much love to go round
Tell me why, this is a land of confusion.

This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we're given
Use them and let's start trying
To make it a place worth living in.

I remember long ago -
Ooh when the sun was shining
Yes and the stars were bright
All through the night
And the sound of your laughter

As I held you tight
So long ago -

I won't be coming home tonight
My generation will put it right
We're not just making promises
That we know, we'll never keep.

Too many men
There's too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can't you see
This is a land of confusion.

Now this is the world we live in
And these are the hands we're given
Use them and let's start trying
To make it a place worth fighting for.

This is the world we live in
And these are the names we're given
Stand up and let's start showing
Just where our lives are going to.

So as I stand here in my secret lair with the flag of Magic Justice by my side.

I say to myself "Yes! I am ANGRY! I'm angry with the wars going on in the world. I'm ANGRY of children that get kidnapped and exploited. I get ANGRY when my thimbles fall after practicing them over and over again. I get ANGRY at the way some magicians treat others." It's okay to be ANGRY! with anger comes change and with change comes WISDOM!

I'm the IMAGINATOR and through my imagination I can challenge, twist and distort topics that people create. I challenge you and make you think about life and YOURSELF. I'm not wrong! I'm not right. Make your own opinion. When you talk to me I will listen. I will pay attention to you. It's not a competition. This is me and I'm REAL! I don't support anger, but sometimes ANGER needs to be supported.
