A few months ago I was contacted by a young woman, Verónica González Sarmiento, who ia a professional dancer and uses my "Butterfly in BOX" I was impressed with how she incorporated the "Butterfly in a BOX" with her beautiful dance routine. Verónica, first discovered the butterfly effect from her uncle, Richard Sarmiento. (He has the unique school of magic in Colombia.) Richard had purchased my Butterfly effect at a magic shop in Las Vegas.

I guess you could say that this is one of my first loyal fans. After she told me about how she uses her butterfly in her act I started thinking and wondering how other magicians/performers use the butterfly in their performance. Veronica also told me that she was working a video that incorporated her beautiful dance moves combined with my "Butterfly in a BOX." I was thrilled that I was going to be seeing the very first professional performance of my effect.

I kindly asked if I could use it on my website and blog and she kindly provided me with even more then I hoped for. So down below is a little about Verónica in her own words and what inspired her to use my effect in her dance.



Profession: Professional Ballet Dancer and Actress.

At 8 years old I begin my studies in Classical Ballet at the School of Dance in Sydney, Australia. At 12 years old I study in the School of John Neumeier Hamburg Ballet for 2 years ( Hamburg, Germany), after that at the Conservatory of Bordeaux, France and in the ballet school of Bogotá, Colombia. I've been around the world dancing all types of music, specially Classical Ballet; USA, Ecuador, Argentina, Cuba and many others. At 18 years old I had an injury in my feet for almost 2 years I coudn't dance, at that time I study Performing Arts in my country with some extra courses in New York City. Actually I teach ballet classes in some privates schools of dance, I do my own dance creations, I dance and help Carlos Zea's Magic show and some others. And this 2013 final year I will be doing Musical Theater in Mexico City.

RECOGNITION:
2002 - Mention of Honour in the 7th International Ballet Competition. (La Habana, Cuba)
2000 - Silver Medal in the Ballet Competition. (Bordeaux, France)
